Fingerprint FAQ

What do I need to bring?

You will need cash or a company check for payment and a state issued drivers license or state issued photo ID.

You will also be required to fill out a release of information form. Forms are available on-site or you can download one here:

How long do the fingerprint results take?

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is experiencing severe delays in the processing of fingerprint requests. The process may take up to 60 days.

I’m in a hurry, can you make my results come back faster?

No, SELECTION.COM® has no power over how long fingerprint results take. We merely capture the fingerprint images and send the data along to BCI for processing. However, you are free to contact them on your own to see if they are willing to help.
