6th Annual Skydiving Work Stinks Boogie This Weekend

The much anticipated ‘Work Stinks! Boogie’, by Start Skydiving, is being held in Middletown, OH from August 20th through September 2nd. Events go on all weekend, including a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday.

The Work Stinks Boogie is a skydiving festival held at the Start Skydiving Dropzone at 1711 Runway Dr., Middletown, OH 45042. This year will be the 6th annual boogie, and is sure to be the best so far. Events include world class organizers, rocking live entertainment, and of course skydiving! Saturday’s events include skydiving all day long, the Team Fastrax pyrotechnic aerial display, and the Selection.com fireworks show, which you’ll not soon forget. They are limiting the skydiving participants to 500 this year to manage the event and ensure the safety of patrons. Carlisle Police National Night Out to Feature a Skydiving Team Performance

Carlisle, OH, is hosting a National Night Out on August 7th, to support police, and bring together the community to prevent crime in their neighborhood. Team Fastrax is scheduled to perform one of their most spectacular aerial displays.

The Carlisle Police Department is hosting this years “National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Carlisle Borough swimming pool. Over 37 million people in over 15,000 communities across the country will join forces to promote police-community partnerships, crime and drug prevention, safety and neighborhood unity. The Department will provide food and drinks, public safety displays and music. Included in the festivities will be a patriotic American flag skydive, with Team Fastrax’s 2,000 sq. ft. flag, and red, white, and blue streamers.   Click here for the full article.

5th Annual Wings and Wheels to Include Skydiving Team Performance

The 5th annual Wings and Wheels, held in Bath County, will include several airshow performers, including an appearance by Team Fastrax, who will be performing their famous American flag skydive.

Wings and Wheels 2013 is a patriotic event, meant to be a salute to our military, and is held at Ingalls Field Airport in Hot Springs, VA. The event will be August 3, 2013 from 8am to 4pm, and will include food, a custom car, truck and motorcycle show, music, and an air show featuring Team Fastrax, a world renowned skydiving team. They will be performing their amazing flag skydive with their 2,000 sq. ft., 500 sq. ft., and 275 sq. ft. flags.    It’s sure to be a sight you’ll not soon forget. Man Tied to Maine Slaying Found Working Carnival

A Maine man wanted on charges of allegedly hindering a murder prosecution in that state was found working at a carnival, when the city ran a routine background check. Selection.com President, James Boeddeker says the company did everything right.

According to the Gloucester Times article, a Maine man wanted on charges of allegedly hindering a murder prosecution in that state was found working at a carnival sponsored by the Beverly Education Foundation. The carnival was being held outside Beverly High School. Sebastian C. Selection.com President Says Background Check Could Have Prevented Alleged Nursing Home Injury

A man working for a nursing home in Kaufman County, TX was recently arrested and charged with assault of an elderly person.  Selection.com President, James Boeddeker, says that a routine pre-employment background check could have avoided this type of situation.

Kaufman police told the CBS-11 I-Team they made an arrest in connection with a nursing home patient’s head injuries.  Police chief Chris Aulbaugh told CBS-11 they took James Seaton, an employee at a local healthcare center in Kaufman, into custody on a felony charge of aggravated assault – injury to elderly.  Aulbaugh says 88-year-old Sammie Berry was injured while Seaton was tending to her.  The wheelchair bound 88-year-old, who has Alzheimer’s, has a gash on her forehead and much of her face turned black and blue.  The chief says Seaton tried to conceal what happened and tried to blame someone else.  Seaton is in the Kaufman County jail.

According to Fox 26 news, a Montgomery County court employee has been arrested in a child sex investigation case. Investigators say they discovered 50 year old Donald Edward Huse searching online for sex with a child. Officials from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office say Huse agreed to meet up with a 16 year old boy at the courthouse in a restroom for sex…that boy was actually an investigator. Assistant District Attorney Warren Diepraam also says the other strange twist to this story is Huse’s job. He worked as a staffer in Montgomery County’s DWI court in Conroe but arrest records show he has a felony DWI conviction from 2009. Investigators are not sure how he slipped through the cracks… However, while working for the county he only used his middle name.
