Team Fastrax™ Performed High Altitude Salute for D-Day

On Sunday, June 5th, 2016 at 7:00 PM local time, Team Fastrax™ performed an amazing skydiving demonstration to honor a unique group of more than 70 WWII veterans (around 45 British and 25 American) who have received a French Legion of Honor.  It was the largest gathering of Allied veterans during the June commemoration week this year.  The performance was held at the Normandy Institute campus at the Château de Bernaville in Picauville, France, and included 1,100 sq. ft. French and British flags, as well as the rare Allied flag.   Unfortunately United Airlines sent the large American Flag to Chicago.  The team was able to locate several small American flags and flew them above the Chateau, presenting them to the granddaughter of General Eisenhower and grandson of General Montgomery.  Vince Hagg, a veteran who scaled Pointe du Hoc on D-Day as a member of Company D 2nd Ranger Battalion said, “It was spectacular to see those beautiful flags flying so high in the air”.   Click here for the full story.

Team Fastrax™ to Appear at the Dayton Dragons Opening Day

The Dayton Dragons’ Opening Day game against the Bowling Green Hot Rods is sure to be an unforgettable night.   The game starts at 4pm, and prior to the game, Team Fastrax™ will be performing a patriotic skydive with their beautiful American flag as well as the Dayton Dragons flag and red, white, and blue streamers.  The National Anthem will be performed by WiiildFlower, a singing trio featuring local teenagers Jordyn Mitchell, Kennedy Cook, and Drea Wallace, winners of the Dayton Daily News national anthem contest.  For the full story click here.

Cheez-It 355 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race to Include Team Fastrax™ Performance

The Cheez-It 355 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race is held at the Watkins Glen International, aka “The Glen,” in Watkins Glen, NY. Sunday, August 9th, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and all of the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will battle it out for the checkered flag. Team Fastrax™ Warrior Weekend to Remember Kicks Off This Thursday

The four day Warrior Weekend to Remember is being held in conjunction with this year’s Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival and starts Thursday, July 9th with a golf outing at WildWood Golf Course. The Team Fastrax™ Warrior Weekend to Remember is an exciting combination of activities meant to enrich the lives of our active duty and veteran men and women injured in combat or training. Thirty-seven combat injured warriors will participate in activities such as tandem skydives, air-craft rides, nighttime bow fishing, go-kart racing and balloon rides. These events will raise money and awareness for the Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Warrior Foundation. Additional public events include an Aaron Tippin Concert, Dayton Dragons game, cornhole tournament, Gold Star Family Bike Ride and a 5k/10k Run/Walk.
